How to Apply

Follow these steps to complete your application for admission to Novena University Ogume.

Obtain JAMB UTME / Direct Entry Form

For undergraduate admission, purchase your JAMB UTME or Direct Entry form and select Novena University Ogume as your institution. Ensure you meet the minimum JAMB cut-off mark for your chosen programme.

Visit the Novena University Admissions Portal

Go to novenauniversity.edu.ng/apply and click "Begin Registration" under your programme type (Undergraduate, Direct Entry, Postgraduate, or Professional).

Complete Your Application Form

Fill in all required personal details, academic history, programme of choice, and upload the necessary documents. Ensure all information is accurate before submission.

Pay the Application Fee

Complete payment of the application processing fee through the secure online payment gateway. Keep your payment receipt for reference.

Sit the Post-UTME Screening

Eligible candidates will be invited for the Post-UTME screening exercise. Check the portal regularly for your screening date, time, and venue.

Check Admission Status & Accept Offer

Admission results are published on the portal. Successful candidates must accept their offer of admission, pay the acceptance fee, and proceed with registration within the stipulated time frame.

Entry Requirements

Admission Requirements

Undergraduate (UTME)

  • Five (5) O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings
  • Credits must include English Language and Mathematics
  • Valid JAMB UTME score meeting the minimum cut-off for your chosen programme
  • WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB results accepted
  • Successful performance in the Novena University Post-UTME screening

Direct Entry

  • OND, HND, NCE, or A-Level results with minimum upper credit or merit
  • Results relevant to the intended programme of study
  • Five (5) O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
  • Valid JAMB Direct Entry (DE) registration
  • Subject to programme-specific requirements

Postgraduate (PGD / MSc / MBA)

  • Minimum of Second Class Lower Division (2:2) undergraduate degree from a recognised university
  • Degree in a relevant field or as specified by the department
  • Two academic references from previous institution
  • Statement of purpose / research proposal (for research programmes)
  • Official academic transcripts from all tertiary institutions attended

Doctoral Programmes (PhD)

  • Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) undergraduate degree
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Detailed research proposal demonstrating original contribution to knowledge
  • Evidence of prior research or publications (desirable)
  • Identified supervisor with departmental approval
